            Hailed by The New York Times as “a pianist who makes every note count”, Royal Conservatory alumnus Jan Lisiecki began playing piano at the age of five in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He would make his orchestral debut just four years later, all the while rebuffing the label of ‘child prodigy’.

Since 2009, the RCM has also been one of the great centres in the world for performing arts, inspiring audiences through performances in Koerner Hall – recognized for its breathtaking acoustics and beautiful architecture.
